This Organic-Food-Recipe Might Help Control Heart Disease
As I am in the game of recovering from gummed up arteries, and an organic-food-recipe to change what I was eating seemed a good idea. It was described to me as a prudent way to get started. I was told that a person on the type of recipe described below, for a year, would have a good chance of reducing cholesterol, dealing a blow to high blood pressure. With some will power and self discipline maybe even reverse the coronary heart disease. If nothing else just make me plain feel a lot better. Consult with your medical practitioner.. Dare I mention that I do know people who reduced their prescribed medications by changing only their diet. Not me - just some people! Hopefully they work closely with their medical practitioner. That way they have some-one to blame if things go wrong. The record shows that the majority of the human population neither have the time, the will power or the intention of staying with any kind of organic-food-recipe long enough to change anything. Not even a diet that could save their life. That’s just reality, and the reason that we have medications like Statin drugs and the like is testament to this lack of will power. Simple and flexible organic-food-recipe. But, what I present below is something anyone can do, it’s simple and flexible, and you will feel better and lose some unwanted weight without a lot of fuss and bother. It can become your organic-food-recipe for better health and vitality.
Breakfast
A glass of fresh juice or warm water with lemon juice to clear out the system. Followed in about half an hour by fresh fruit with soaked nuts or seeds.Your Kidding Me! Where’s the Coffee--No-no!!
A mid morning drink of fresh vegetable or fruit juice. Go out and buy yourself a juice machine. Of course you will have to clean it when you are finished but it’s worth it. I Think! Replace the coffee machine, better still throw it in the junk! -OK Better make that recycle bin.
Lunch
A large salad with plenty of green sprouts and a variety of green vegetables with a light dressing. Also a nut pate with dehydrated crackers or a root vegetable dish, or a grain, nut or bean dish.A mid-afternoon snack of vegetable or fruit juice.
Dinner
Try soup, a salad, and a protein dish containing nuts or beans.Do you ever get a craving for meat? You know what I mean - like beef, chicken and stuff. OK so I cheat a little, but only a little, and I try to get grass fed beef and chicken from the Mennonites!” Some of whom practice organic farming. But the truth is I wish I could just cut it out. It’s true I think. One should get rid of the notion that a little bit can’t do any harm. The truth is. A little bit can do a lot of harm if it contains hormones, pesticide, or BSE related problems, but especially if it contains FAT, ANIMAL FAT
Drinks
Drink primarily pure water and fresh juices. Herbal teas cooled to body temperature can also be used.
Stay with it to make the adjustment…Many people and especially those who have grown up on a fast food diet, or, who crave bacon and eggs, pork fat and lard, coffee cream, sugar and everything else that tastes good might have, as I did, a few problems making the adjustment to an organic-food-recipe like this. It really can however lead to a healthier way of life. Remember though, that this food recipe is flexible, you don't really have to count calories or banish all your favorite foods, and you are allowed to visit your local ethnic restaurants. At least the local restaurants that serve plenty of traditional organic food, of the unprocessed variety. Where I live there are many restaurants that cater to the initiated like you and me. Even if we do grow our own organic vegetables and fruit we can still eat out. What I try to do is to make sure I don’t consume too much fat, especially the kinds of fats that do the damage, and especially saturated fat. I also watch the salt, the sugar, and the white flour products. These are referred to as the three white poisons. Fruits and Vegetables might seem boring. We consider fruits and vegetables to be boring. What we need is to revisit what eating raw organic food is about. My Organic vegetable garden is planted with good old-fashioned varieties, and if I get to them before the bugs, and the rabbits, I know that the vegetables and fruit really do taste better than from the store. Weed sprays, bug sprays, and inorganic fertilizers are history. – horse manure is the name of the game - but BS is better - that’s composted bull manure, which by the way is the best mulch for controlling weeds I have ever used. We also get the exercise, the fresh air, and freshly picked ripe tomatoes and crisp green salads, all part of an organic-food-recipe. The fruits of ones own labor.
